World of Requiem

Requiem takes place in a world where everything has spirit and that spirit can harnessed for good or evil.  

Story

Ketsu has been in love with a childhood friend for years, but after the new year, Ketsu is finally convinced it's time to confess the unrequited love! 

How Requiem Came To Be:

Back in January('08) my sister and I were talking about our favorite manga/anime. I pointed out how our favorites are usually action packed--and she pointed out love is the motivation of most of our heroes. So, I was inspired to create a story in which all the characters actions are encouraged by love.

I originally wrote the "Requiem" story in animation format, but I wanted to practice with a classic ink pen (the kind you dip in the ink) and didn't have any manga plot in mind, so I used Requiem. It's not supposed to be a manga, but I began enjoying practicing with the pen that I thought I might tone it and post it up as a web-manga. ^_^ The beginning pages are... quite poorly done, though...
